Humbled...

That's really the only word that I can think of to describe whats been going on. I think all of you have noticed a sense of absence with us here and on myspace and also being out on the live scene.

As of recently, I'm sure that you've all experienced some kind of hardship with the economic direction of the country and so forth, but it has hit us pretty hard. We're not a band that's really had any handouts. Everything that we have possibly had we have earned. So basically we have had to spend the extra money we put into AIMLESS into surviving. I'm not sitting here trying to make excuses for us because we're firm beleivers in having no excuses, only apologies. So knowing that, it has taken us a while to get where we are. We have never stopped working or practicing to get what we want.

I once was told that a song could save a life... and then it hit me.. just how powerful words and melody could be.

The music we play comes from our hearts. These are experiences and trials in our lives that have affected us and by playing them we hope to make a difference in peoples lives. Music is a universal connection that can change your entire day, your thought perspective, your mood, your entire life sometimes.

Life is one of those things that we've all been experiencing lately. Along with the hardship of the economy and gas prices and whatnot, we've all been through issues lately with joblessness, homelessness, seperation, school, and plain and simply feeling defeated. So what are you supposed to do when this is out of your control?

We weren't sure what direction to take or where to go. We really were Aimless. We still were dying to play music and be out there, but situations that were beyond our control prevented us. However like I said in the beginning, a song could save a life, and AIMLESS could save ours.

I heard another saying once that Hardships build endurance, endurance builds character, and character builds hope.

Here is our hope. A will to play and tell our story through a song. And take it on the road...
